OUR MISSION
We embarked on this mission with little (who are we kidding, we
really mean NO) funding but a compelling vision! Our vision was
to provide an infinitely better modular building to you and match
that with infinitely better service. We care for our employees,
partners, vendors, friends, and associates because that, at the
end of the day, is what really matters. It is important for us
to always do the right thing.
John E. Hartung
John brings over 12 years of experience and expertise in all phases
of modular building construction, management, sales and leasing.
He has consulted with various modular entities as they seek capital,
explore new markets, product expansion or just need someone to
talk to with modular expertise.
John was recruited to Mobile Modular Management Corporation in
1995 as the Northern California Operations Manager. He worked his
way steadily up the ranks to Division Manager responsible for California,
Texas and the new branch in Florida. In 2004, between his wife’s
chemotherapy and radiation treatment for breast cancer, the company
and John parted.
Prior to joining Mobile Modular, John worked in management and
sales for Wells Fargo Bank, Mobil Oil and Union Carbide. John worked
full time while earning his undergraduate degree from Georgia State
University (BBA) and graduate degree (MBA) from St. Mary’s
College. Before entering college, John enlisted in the United States
Marine Corps (USMC) serving overseas and in the United States.

Marla M. Hartung
Marla is the courage and strength behind this endeavor. Her bravery
as she battled through breast cancer and her endless encouragement
to start this business says it all.
After graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a B.S.
degree, Marla worked for Eli Lilly and then Unilever. She enjoyed
a long career with both companies as an Account Manager for Elizabeth
Arden Cosmetics. She called on Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Emporium,
I Magnin, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Gottschalks.
We made a decision that Marla would quit work and raise our two
kids. It was a financial struggle, but we were blessed and our
kids, Luke and Hannah were able to attend Catholic schools. Then,
when you least expect it some changes took place.
Marla was diagnosed with breast cancer and John was looking for
work.
She remained the pillar of strength as she battled breast cancer
while doing her best to care for her family. Some of you may, sadly,
realize the devastating effects of chemotherapy and therefore know
how hard it is to function at some “normal” level.
John picked up the slack with cooking, cleaning, carpool, and coaching
baseball! Our prayers were answered and we are now all healthy,
working on our modular business.
Now we have a prayer for you – God bless you and thank you
for doing business with Infinite Modular!
